The agreement signed in May 2015 to create the Université de Montréal Marguerite-d'Youville Research Chair on Humanistic Nursing Interventions provided for two committees to manage the Chair. Both committees support the Chairholder in her functions. The first, called the Management Committee, is focused more specifically on the administrative aspects of the Chair's operations and its relations with donors while the second, called the Scientific Committee, is more concerned with the scientific development of the Chair.
